Start with no experience whatsoever and graduate as a fully-rounded fashion designer. This is HFA's flagship programme — eight months that take you from holding a needle for the first time to constructing bridal couture and running a fashion business.

01 Phase One

Foundation

Months 1 – 3

Tools, equipment, fabric types, hand stitching, basic machine operation, and pattern drafting fundamentals. You learn the grammar of fashion before you write a sentence.

02 Phase Two

Intermediate

Months 4 – 6

Garment construction, fitting techniques, drapery, embellishments, and womenswear. You stop making pieces and start making outfits.

03 Phase Three

Advanced

Months 7 – 8

Corsetry, bridal & couture construction, fashion illustration, styling, and fashion business management. You graduate ready to work — or launch.
